(This amendment provides $50,000 the first year and $50,000 the second year from the general fund to Our Health, Inc. The funds will be used for shared staff development, grant writing and management, and volunteer resource center operations which promote and market volunteers for some 15 agencies. Funds are also needed to offset the agencies' operating expenses of furthering the expansion of the Our Health Community Campus, to include other state and local health and human services agencies, as a one-stop shop for consumers and families. Our Health, Inc., will utilize these funds to offer critical financial management services to non-profits that must upgrade their accounting and reporting systems. Our Health, Inc., also provides consultation on business planning and best practices for care coordination and operational efficiency.) |
