(This amendment provides $300,000 the first year from the general fund to the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center in Front Royal. The funds are needed for an indoor arena & multipurpose building. Campers and others will have a place to have programs and do crafts, especially during inclement weather. The multipurpose building can also be used by all user groups and the community for a variety of activities in addition to horse shows, i.e., horseless horse shows, relay races, night archery, games, and many other community events. It would also serve thousands of people in Northern Virginia who would enjoy the rural setting and not have to fight traffic.) |
