"E. To assist employers in meeting the requirements of Section 40.1-11.1 of the Code of Virginia (Employment of Illegal Immigrants), the Virginia Employment Commission is directed to develop an automated system for screening job applicants. The Commission shall verify an individual's employment eligibility using both state and federal information sources including, but not limited to, the Department of Taxation, the State Board of Elections, the Department of Health, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Social Security Administration. The Commission shall establish and collect fees for this service as appropriate." |
