"h. Internet-accessed Learning Program
This appropriation includes $2,300,000 the second year from the general fund for grants to school divisions for internet-accessed learning programs for drop-out recovery and at-risk intervention for dropout prevention which will enable students to remediate core courses and to complete credits in surroundings which supplement or replace the traditional classroom. This is a pilot program for which the Department of Education shall determine eligibility criteria and select participants in order to evaluate the effectiveness of theses approaches in a variety of educational contexts." |
