(This amendment provides additional funding in the second year for the Personal Assistance Services program in the Department of Rehabilitative Services. Funding would provide personal care services to 70 individuals with disabilities, who are not eligible for Medicaid. A number of these individuals are now receiving personal care services through federal vocational rehabilitation funding that will end once the individual is successfully employed. Without these services some of the individuals may not be able to remain employed and others may need to be institutionalized.) |
